Default Removing the +1 from numbers dialed?

Please Login to Remove!

I recently moved to Israel and took my AT&T Blackberry 8310 with me the local carier just started selling them this week.The problem I am having is that when I dial a local cell number from my contacts it is adding +1 to the begining of the number.How can I stop this from happening?

I think you have to change the country code in smart dialing.

From the phone menu (green key) go to options/Smart Dialing. Set the correct country code and maybe the area code if needed and that might fix it.
