i have the sprint bb curve 8330 but when i try to download google maps on it ..it says sorry google maps does not work on your research in motion ltd..

i thought google maps worked for the blackberry

im trying to download it off opera mini ...if that has nething to do with it

Google maps won't install with opera. Have to use the bb browser.

For GoogleMaps you need OTA and the BB browser.

I don't have access to my BB browser since I don't have a BB data plan, is there any other way to install google maps/gmail ?

You need a data plan to run google maps.
