When the phone is in the holster and a new message comes in, and i pop it out the message opens right up on the screen on its own. But when its sitting on my desk and one comes in i have to push a button to bring the screen up, then open messages. How can i make it so when a new message comes in and its just sitting there i can just hit a button and have it open the new message like i pulled it from the holster?

Just leave it in the case for about 15 extra seconds, it not something you can change...

I think u misunderstand me, i like the way it reacts when i take it from the holster. I want it to come right up when its not in the holster. For example if its on my desk, no holster, and someone texts me it goes off and the phone sits there doing nothing. I hit the button and the desktop comes up, i hit messages and there it is. Can i make it so when someone texts me it automatically displays the message like i pulled it from the holster....

Your right my bad. I don't think that is possible either.

From my experience messages will only open when you pull from the holster if the new message qualified to notify you (vibrate or tone) on arrival. If you only have certain messages alert you they are the only ones that will be openned when you pull from the holster within x seconds of delivery. Once you realize that pulling from the holster is like a trigger, you will understand that your new messages won't open automatically with it sitting on your desk because there's no trigger.
