Default Generic Car Charger ==> Battery Damage?

Please Login to Remove!

So I have a generic car charger that's designed for a Motorola Razr. It's an exceedingly cheap piece of equipment, and I'm concerned that I might damage my battery. Any chance of that happening? I've only used it a few times, and it seems to charge the battery okay. Should I be concerned about blowups, reduced battery life, fires, leaking acid, anything like that?

I don't think you should be concerned... many generic chargers work, I've used several. Go for it.

Ah great. I was being a little facetious with the fires and explosions, though. ^_^
