Question Voicemail Icon on Resets

Please Login to Remove!

I hope this hasn't been asked before, I searched the topic, but may not have been specific enough. If it has been asked, I apologize in advance.

I use my Curve (service through TMo) often as a modem for my laptop. This frequently requires me to do a battery-pull (or the alt/shift/delete trick at least) to reset the device.

My question is this- each time I do this I get the voicemail indicator on my home screen although there is no message waiting for me. Every...single...time.

What's up with that? I then have to call my voicemail and get the "You have no new messages in your inbox." for the indicator to go away. is there a way to prevent this from happening?
