Default Blackberry 8330 "How To" Questions

Please Login to Remove!

All,

I just purchased a Blackberry 8330 from Verizon. I am having 2 problems that I have not been able to resolve by looking at the documentation.

1. Spam/E-mail Filter - Where is this located in the menus? Do I need to purchase this application separately?

2. How do I Sync wirelessly? Can I use Bluetooth?

Thanks,
Neal Rosenblum

Spam/E-mail filter needs to be set up on your email server, ie. if you use gmail, you would need to set it up on gmail.com, or log into your BIS site:
https://bis.na.blackberry.com/html?brand=vzw
and add the filters one at a time there.

Wireless sync is only available via BES, but you can sync via bluetooth using Desktop Manager with Outlook.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry 9000 4.6.0.67)

Spam is best filtered BEFORE hitting the BB infrastructure, BES or BIS. Set it up on your mail server.
