Any free Quit Smoking apps?
I have an 8330, just wondering if anyone knows of any free apps to aid in quitting smoking that will work on this phone?

In reality, the Blackberry IS a *not-free* quit smoking aid. It gets your mind away from all the smoking and tabacco and channels it towards technology. All jokes aside, I've never heard of anything like that.

Let me approach it this way. Does anyone know of an alarm app that would allow me to easily set an incremental alarm on my phone. Easily is the key word here, the whole point of this exercise is to reduce stress and quit smoking.;-)
From what I've read, getting out of the habit of lighting one whenever you want is the first step to quitting and many recommend setting an alarm for an hour(for example) and incrementing it slightly (the next alarm may be set for 1 hour and 5 minutes, etc...) each time you have a cigarette.

Any help and/or feedback is greatly appreciated.

For a good alarm app, look at BBSmart AlarmsPro. It will allow you to set quick alarms on the fly.

Another thread a while back the user quit smoking by using his BB to text his kid if I remember right.... He would text everytime he wanted a smoke....

I know it's not what you are looking for but it might help as well....

Good luck!!!!

Is like your Blackberry smoking, or something? You want to quit smoking, do ya? Then stop putting cigarettes, cigars, chewing tobacco, etc. in your mouth. The end.

eh, i understand how you feel Darmichar. i'm a smoker myself. Your best bet is to find someone to quit with you as well, or even wager on it. If not, then the alarm apps are available as jsanders stated is useful as well! Good luck!
