Hello,
I added my gmail account to my 8830 curve and have a question. When an email comes to my gmail I don't get the little red star on the icon that shows that an email is there. The reason I'm asking is that I have a blackberry email account as well and when I recieve an email I would like to know which icon to select. It works for blackberry but not my Gmail. Can anyone help?

You do know that you have a separate mailbox icon for every email account right? As long as you are receiving mail you should see the astric. Maybe your notifications are turned off.

Open the gmail program, and go under settings. Check for notification. You may also want to edit the sound profile for gmail as well, under profiles - advanced.

Are you using the gmail app or did you add your gmail account to BIS?
