I am not sure what a v card is. But you can send a blackberry contact as an attachment. Go to the Address Book, Select the contact, press Menu, select send as attachment. I have never done this, so I am nto sure if you can send sms or not. Hope this helps.

You can't, via SMS. Remember SMS is SHORT MESSAGE SERVICE, which discludes attachments, etc.

He can send a BB Address Book contact via email or PIN (to another BB user).

I am confused. Did you receive a VCard via SMS, that you want to forward to someone else?

Otherwise, go to your address book, open the contact, highlight over the number you desire, menu, copy, return to the SMS, menu paste.

Can you not use email? You could forward the entire contact easily.

I don't see how that works. It certainly didn't work when I tried it out.

Again, SMS is just text. It doesn't support attachments.

Default Insane

I can push my address book from my BB to my old chocolate, via BT no problem. I can transfer, via BT, address books/vcards easily between my laptop and chocolate. But I can't push my address books to my BB Pearl. Is using the manager the only way to push your address book to the BB?

It is insane the old chocolate has better BT capabilities than the BB.

It is not a BT issue, it is a security issue.

You can use BT to sync your BB to your laptop.

You can use Desktop Manager to sync your BB and Outlook via USB.

But you can't just go pushing data to your BB from wherever.

Yup. You have to use it to sync whether via USB or BT. Unless you're on BES and have wireless sync.
