Default Phone charging? - 07-18-2008, 03:55 PM

I just got my 8330 and plugged it in for it's first charge. I was wondering if the battery icon is supposed to have an active display of the battery charging? It shows the usb cable plugged in but it's not doing anything? Does power bar go up once it has some power?

Thankyou in advance!

Give in an hour at first and then about 3-4 to totally charge.

Normally, according to the theme the device is using, an electical symbol will appear near or on the battery.

Are you plugged to a wall outlet or the PC?

The symbol does not move, you should have a yellow little lightning bolt though..

I haven't seen a lightning bolt either.

If you are charging with the BB powered off, the LED flashes yellow-green and then becomes steady green when it is fully charged.

Dammit beyondalegend! I can't read the posts because your avatar keeps distracting me!
