Default Deleting email account

Please Login to Remove!

My first Blackberry was a hand-me-down from my boss. I have since upgraded to a new 8310, but in several places there are still traces of his email account. For example, it's one of the items under profiles and there are a number of his messages in saved message folder. However, there is no icon for the account - not even hidden or in a sub-folder.

Is there a way I can completely get rid of all traces of his email account - short of wiping my BB and starting over clean?

You can delete the messages, of course. Look also in the Saved Folder (messages > options > Saved).

Likely, the service book is still there at Options > Advanced > Service Book. Delete those with his email. Pull the battery and reboot the BB.

Make sure that if he had a BIS account that it was deleted as well (need to call the carrier for this).

It might be too late but if you can do this, I'd recommend wiping the device to start with a clean slate. It's under Security Options->General Settings. Bring up the menu and choose Device Wipe. You'll lose any email that you've received already and it will wipe out the calendar, address book, etc.
