Default flash player for 8330? - 07-22-2008, 10:04 PM

Are flash and/or shockwave useable on the the 8330? The curve is a great media player, but I don't have miscellaneous videos lying around waiting to be converted to mp3 for viewing away from home. It'd be nice to visit youtube during lunchbreak!!!

you can use the mobile youtube site at m.youtube.com, but no, the BB doesn't support flash/shockwave.

check out videos4blackberry.info Theyt are already in the correct format and just download to your PC and then drag and drop onto your SD card. Videos are in great quality and you can get movies and television shows.

All this talk about where to go for videos is nice, but how do you view a website if you need flash installed to view it on the 8330 Curve?

You don't. There's no flash plugin for the BlackBerry web browser.
There's no Flash for BlackBerry at all.

There is a program out there called "Video Get". Check this program out. You install it to your pc and you can give it the direct web address of any video. It will download it and then turn it into any file type you want. It works really well and I have never had any problems with it. Then just try to transfer the files right over to your BB.
