Default DVD to my Curve 8310

Please Login to Remove!

Just bought a 4G media card and have downloaded the latest OS. So here's the stupid question......how do I put one of my favorite DVD's on to my BB? I'm new to this BB world so explain it to me in elementary words.

Here's the link on how to encode video for the BB device. However, first you need to decrypt it and get it into a workable format (mpeg, dvi, etc.). But then again, doing that would be copyright infringement.

OK, I downloaded the converter Seabyrd Technologies - Blackberry Video Converter but it doesnt show it's compatible with the 8310, only the Pearl (240x260)and 88xx Series (320x240) Am I missing something or was this a wrong download?

I use DVD catalyst to convert all my DVD's into my BB, it's easy to use and the setting practically come preloaded. I'd highly recommend it.

Unless i'm mistaking (320x240) is the resolution of the 83xx Curve.

No, it's 320x240, the same as the 88xx.
