Default question on upgrading to new OS...

Please Login to Remove!

i just downloaded both files on page 1 of the new OS thread to the computer. i unchecked the box "check for updates" during install (by accident). i believe that was my first mistake. now that i launched DM, it shows "4.5.0" available for BB software. should it not read 4.5.0.55? maybe i missed a step or need to reinstall and check for updates. and what is the "4.5.0.81" designate on the title of that thread? the DM ver is 4.5.0.15 btw. thanks.

It won't show the build number (.55). You should be fine.

Make certain after the OS install to the PC that you follow the directions EXACTLY as posted, and in order as posted.

Make sure you delete the vendor.xml file.

The DM version and build# and the OS version and build# in now way correlate.

Good luck... and, always best to just post questions like this IN the thread from which you downloaded, keeps the forums nice and tidy
