I am not able to recieve any emails, SMS, or MMS messages. I can send them all successfully.

Everything worked fine until today. I have had my phone for 1 week!

Any thoughts?

It's not likely to be your device unless you recently did something major to it. Call T-Mobile.

Yes, I had to reinstall BIS because I had origonally installed BES. but my company was not able to add me to thier servire due to limited availablity. I was recieveing odd emails from Blackberry. So someone on this dite recommended to reinstall desktop under BIS instead. But ever since then, I have not been able to recieve any messages of any sort.

Have you tried popping the battery out and in? See if that helps.

By taking out the battery, i am now able to recieve SMS, but not able to send any, it comes up with an X and under the persons name it says unassigned number.

But still not able to recieve any emails.
