| The easiest thing I can think of to do is to setup the desktop manager software to sync (one way) to a text file, and then perform the sync once. Then edit the text file, probably just the column headings, but it may be more complicated than that. Then setup desktop manager to sync (one way, the OTHER WAY) from the text file, and re-sync.
The key is to get the data out of the Blackberry and into an easily-edited format, such as a text file.
I originally imported my contacts from a text file, since my old phones storage format wasn't directly importable. In the process I used a script to hyphenate all the phone numbers (i.e. 123-456-7890) before importing to my Blackberry. I had a little trouble getting all the fields to map correctly, but I think this problem would be lessened or non-existent with a text file created from Blackberry data in the first place. |
