Default Sorry kinda new and dont understand other forums-- sprint picture messaging

Please Login to Remove!

I tried looking it up and everybody talks about programs or other words that i have no idea what they mean. Is there any possible way i can take a picture and send it to a friend it just a normal text message and not through email or bb messanger?

Yes, it uses MMS. Now if you're asking this because you don't have a data plan, then you'll need some other 3rd party software to send pics without a data plan.

Go to Media > Pictures > highlight the picture you want to send, press Menu > Send as MMS.

Try updating the service books:

Options > Advanced Options > Host Routing Table > press the Menu key and select Register Now

If that doesn't help then a call to your provider may be in order since your account may not be set up to send/receive MMS.

Sprint BlackBerry devices do not have MMS. You can only send SMS text.

You would have to email the pic to the other person. There are other threads on this subject here somewhere.....

Yes, Verizon can do MMS (which is basically SMS text wtih an attachment).

You would have to 'email' the pic to the person something like [email address] - that's not the correct address, though. You'll have to search around here for the correct addressing format.
