Default DM working then not working

Please Login to Remove!

Heres my question..

Just got an 8330 today it switched everything perfectly from my pearl over to the curve and was working fine..

Then I installed my OS 4.3.0.127 which is the same one that is preloaded on the phone however I installed the Sprint version.. The DM that I am using is 4.5

I deleted the vendor.xml start the DM and plug in my curve and it doesn't even see that there is anything plugged in at all.

I have to uninstall the OS and the DM and then reinstall the DM and it picks up my curve fine when I plug it in.

I have tried 3x now with the same results

Help

Are you running Vista, if so open up the Device Manager, you should have a usb driver with a yellow symbol next to it, delete the driver with the BB pluged in, unplug it and plug it back in.

So your PC is showing the BB connected to the DM... but it won't upgrade the O.S.

When I install the DM and plug in the phone it shows as connected... once I install the OS (not upgrading it is the same version currently installed on the phone) and then plug in the phone it doesn't show as connected

That's different, have you tried re-downloading the O.S. maybe the file was corrupt.

Yup....

Anyone know where I could get Bell's version instead of using the one from Sprint
