Welcome to the forums!

The agent was clueless. There is no charge for any of them.

Yes, that goes for the rest. Sprint is nice enough to provide you with the 'launcher' icons to load the programs, too (although I don't use any of them, so I consider all those icons to be bloatware).

Since you have the $30 data plan with Sprint, all your usage for those programs (they all use data) is included in your plan.

Or you could dump all those different icons and spend $30 to buy JiveTalk - an all in one IM application that will allow you to chat with all of those different IM applications in ONE application. Check out Beejive | instant messaging, just about anywhere.

You may want double check the application itself. I know the messenger programs that come from Verizon actually use text messages, not data. You can always download the free BB IM apps from taking your BB browser to blackberry.com/instantmessaging

I did see this, but I am not personally familiar with the stock apps on Sprint devices.

Should have looked to see that you have Sprint, and I woulda kept out of it

Sprint does not charge for any of that as text messaging - it's all data.

You're welcome. You will find that a lot of CSRs don't know what they are talking about when it comes to BlackBerry. Welcome to BBF

Is the Sprint GPS application free? I thought it was but it says something about only the 1st day being free.

It refering to the Telenav service. That is turn-by-turn navigation like you would find on a portable unit. That service is $9.99/month w/1st day free. General GPS via google maps or blackberry maps is FREE.

Hi~! I'm new too!
Anyway, I was wondering about the messengers too, mainly MSN. Is it no charge for AT&T?
