Anyone have an idea when ATT will officially release os 4.5 for the 8310

Nope, why not just use the version in the sticky? It will work on any 8310, and is probably the same version AT&T will eventually release

As long as you follow the instructions about deleting the vendor.xml file, you will be good to go.

Yep, just follow the directions, and if you have any questions, just ask. It's fairly straightforward and easy.

Welcome to BBF! Upgrading your OS is very easy. I've only done it once before but the instructions are very clear so you should have no problems. And of course if you do, come back and post and someone will be around to help you!
