Default 4.5.0.52 Problems ... Alrdy searched

Please Login to Remove!

Hey all;

I just installed 4.5.0.52 on my 8310 tonight and I'm having a few problems.

1) When I try to take pictures, the phone says "file system full" ... "cannot save" -- I checked options > status and I have plenty of space (16805436 bytes), so I'm not sure whats up there...

2) I cant seem to get HTML email working (I'm on ATT) ... Ive resent my service books a few times and have done a battery pull once ... The option isnt coming up in option > email settings ... So again Im not sure

Thanks for all the help
Cant wait for the bold!

Did you try a battery pull?? I just upgraded to the same OS and has 16mb free then did a battery pull reboot( remove the battery with phone powered on wait 30 seconds reinsert and let it boot up) and after a lengthy reboot, that actually had me worried till it booted up okay, I had 25mb free. I just tested my camera and it works fine. If that's not it, I'm sure there will be a few other suggestions to follow soon.

Edit:
Sorry, as to the HTML issue I don;t use email so I am not sure on that. I know I have seen your issue on the other upgrade threads so perhaps look at some of the recent upgrade OS threads.

Thanks for the quick reply

I just tried the battery pull again without any luck. (I figured that would have been a sure bet, but apparently not...)

What is your device memory limit set to in media, menu key>options? even if it is set to 15 MB if you reach that, no matter what your file free is it will tell you it can't store more.

Get a media card and save your pictures to that. If you don't, you will end up losing emails and text messages.

On the HTML mail, on your BB , go to Options > Advanced > Service Books and delete any email service with the @ symbol in them for [CIMIME].

Then, pull the battery and reboot the BB.

Then, go to your carrier BIS site and resend the Service Books. You should get the registration message from ATT.

If needed, pull the battery and reboot again.

You should get the HTML option now in your messages > options.
