I finally got the Desktop Manager to allow me to set up my 8330 to sync with Outlook contacts, notes and calendar, but then the sychronization failed with the message "no applications configured to synchronize". I can't figure out how to configure Outlook to synchronize, assuming that's what the message means. Can anyone help?

In your Desktop Manager > Sync setup, you need to
1. Connect your BlackBerry® device to your computer.
2. Open the BlackBerry Desktop Manager.
3. Double-click Synchronize.
4. On the Configuration tab, click Configure synch.
5. Select the Address Book and Setup.
6. Follow each application (Calendar, Memo Pad, Tasks) and setup to Outlook.

I didn't have to do anything with Outlook, but as the previous reply noted, it is the Desktop Manager that needs to be set up. It wasn't really intuitive the first time.
