My maps just show diagnol lines on the screen - Vodafone say its because i am BES. does any one have any mapping apps for UK. What software is the BB will my symbian tom tom work ?

I had this issue on my phone (T-Mobile UK) and the problem was that they had not provisioned my phone with the correct service books (the one for Blackberry Maps).

Contact Vodafone, make sure your chatting to someone who knows what they are doing (good luck) and make sure you have the right service books active on your account, then get the to resend them.

Restart the phone, and you should be fine !

Just re-read your post ..... why should they have Blackberry maps disabled for BES customers ?

Tell 'em to stop being a pain in the arse and sort out the service book !

Scapegoating. Support people love blaming the "other" person. In this case, I don't see how BES would affect it.
