my gf is getting a new bb8310 and would like to be able to type all her contacts on the computer and then sync with the 8310...does it matter what outlook you use..she has outlook 2007..i myself have never done it this way because i have always had at&t and all contacts were saved tto sim card but she had verizon and now switched to At&t..just tryin to get the contacts on her new phone the easiest way without having to type them all in to the phone itself....

She is doing it the correct and easiest, seamless way.

Import the contacts into or type them into Outlook, which is much easier than typing them on the BB itself, and then sync outlook to the BB, using Desktop Manager.

Very simple. Saving your contacts to your SIM (on a BB) limits you to using only one phone number per contact, and no room for additional information such as email addresses, addresses, etc. She will be quite pleased.
