Hi Folks,

I purchased a Blackberry Curve 8320 on Friday. Everything was going fine, I was sending and receiving email on my work system fine.

Then today whilst working, I realised I hadn't had any new emails. I didn't have a signal so I double checked this and for some reason it had put me on AT&T.

I changed this back to T-Mobile and I was able to send and receive SMS and send email. But I still haven't been able to receive email. I received one email out of around 40 I have received today.

I have made sure I am registered by going to: Options >Advanced Options >Host Routing Table.

I have switched it on and off.

Any help gratefully received. If I can't get it fixed, which number should I call to speak to the right people at T-Mobile?

welcome to the forums. Call 1800Tmobile and ask for data support. Your device generally switches to another provider when you do not have a Tmobile signal where you are. That being said, your data should work just fine. Go to options > mobile network > Data Service > ON. Make sure it is not set to Off while roaming. If you have a Tmobile national plan, you do not have roaming inside the US.

Another T-Mobile 8320 user here. I haven't received any emails sent to me yet today. I upgraded to 4.5 a week agoo and have had no problems until this. I've pulled the battery about five times and resent the service books twice. I can email out but nothing comes in.

I'm pretty sure email in down on T-mo. I'm in Los Angeles and haven't gotten a mail yet today. No changes to my OS or anything, so I'm pretty sure it's just a service issue.

This may or may not be a coincidence but I just went back on T-Mobile's website to resend my service books again when I noticed that my bill was three days overdue. I paid it off and Voila!, a flood of email made it to my BB right after the battery pull. So, either T-Mo had email problems that are now fixed or I've learned how they handle overdue BlackBerry accounts.

Might only be regional. I have Tmobile and am receiving email fine both via BES and BIS.

i'm in nyc and having problems since yesterday. no internet or email. i called tmobile, we did a battery pull and deleted and resent service books. worked for a few hours and then went down again. noticed i'm getting html in emails now. perhaps this is related to the issue. i've turned off html on my device to see if that makes a difference.

I live in New Mexico and I just sent myself a test email to all 4 of the email accounts I have going to my Blackberry and so far nothing. The @tmo.blackberry.net and @yahoo.com email usually arrives within a minute of sending it.

[Edit] I just registered on the Host Routing Table and nothing. I then reset the phone (using the ALT-RIGHT SHIFT-DEL key combination) and once the phone rebooted my test emails and a couple others arrived.

are you going to keep playing around with this? i've been going in and out all day today. was just playing around now and sent myself a regular text email and it worked but the second i included html in it and had the html ON in my bb settings, nothing has come through since. going to try turning it off and repeating these processes.

mine seems to be working ok with the HTML off, after doing a battery pull. if i send myself an html message it comes in as text now.

Sorry I didn't hang around, work called. :P

I've been receiving regular and HTML emails most of the afternoon like I normally would.
