I have been with tmo for a long while. When I went to basic training I canceled my account and when I went to tech school I signed on with Verizon. W o r s t mistake ever. I am now with tmo again with my wonderful, wonderful BB Curve.

Although TM has fun featured phones, I find that their overall quality of service is not as great as other providers.

I've been with T-Mobile for about 5 years now and I've never dropped a call. I love the service and if I'm not mistaken they're the cheapest of the major providers.

I'm not a big fan of T-Mo coverage. I have a T-Mo BB through work and I travel a great deal up and down the east coast. I find too many holes in the coverage, even in big cities. I expect it when I'm in rural areas or far from a big city, but not in major metro areas.
If all you want is a BB that you can make calls from and receive almost anywhere and get your email uninterrupted, go with VZW. I know that's not what everyone wants to hear, but you've got to give them their props for coverage. Sometimes you just have to hold your nose...

I am on TMO in San Antonio. I get great coverage. I love it. that is only a valuable refernce to you if you also live in San Antonio....and if you live on the far south instead of far north, it may be a diffent story even here. (I don't know.) Coverage on all carriers can vary a mile or so away.

You need to check out coverage specific to where you live.
Great response! I totally agree.

I love T-Mobile...My 1st phone with Omnipoint was the blue Sony Erickson with the big YES/NO buttons...lol. Now that I think back...that phone was sooo big.
Since then I went through so many phones with Voicestream and now T-Mobile. The service and the CS has been great all these years.

Love T-Mobile

Great service, great coverage, great prices.

Only bummer is that T-Mo BlackBerry to T-Mo BlackBerry pic MMS doesn't always work. So I mainly use email.

I had a friend that hated T-Mo cause he said he always had dropped calls and didn't have any service...switched to AT&T and likes them better but is paying more...he also lived in a horrible area and happened to go into spots that didn't have that much service

I think most folks that live in a major metro area that have tmo would be very happy people. I wish we had tmo here where I live, but I live 20 miles from Cleveland and Akron, Oh., and there isn't even a tmo dealer anywhere near here, not even a kiosk like you find in the malls. I wish we had good tmo coverage here because I'd switch in a minute to them.

It all breaks down to coverage. Does not matter what the little carrier map says. You need to check it out for yourself with the device you own in the areas you expect to get service. If you get crap for service make sure you return your device and cancel you account within the grace period!

Good customer service does not matter to me. I seldom have to talk to these people as I have no problems and do not need or want to talk to them!

I totally agree. Check with users in your area. I am in ATL and I love the prices and service but dropped calls happen and depend on where you are. I have figured out the ones within a 10 mile radius of my home and I can tell callers to expect me to lose the call and I'll call back or I will postpone making the call or surfing the web until we have driven further up the road. My mom lives about 20 minutes away and has no reception on her Pearl inside her house but I have decent reception at home.

I switched from Verizon to T-Mobile about a year ago. I was nervous because everyone said their coverage was crappy. I haven't had any issues where I live - North of Boston on the NH border (Nashua).

Verizon does have slightly better coverage but I was sick of paying so much of BB service and waiting so long for the newer phones.

I also was a VoiceStream Customer from back in the day and in 2007 I jumped ship to ATT. It was a simple decision, I got almost no coverage in my home. Other than that T-Mo was good. I don't think you can beat T-Mo dollar value
