How do I send text messages to people not in my phone book? When I go to create a text message I don't have the option to just put a number in the send field. For example when I see a contest or something and it says to send a message to 77877, I cannot figure out a way to do this. Any Help??

Messages > click menu button > Compose SMS Message

Scroll all the way up and choose [Use Once]
Then type in the number you want to send the message to.

Type the number as you need to, and below it, you should see [use once] Be sure this option is highlighted and selected when you complete the number.
