Default Issues with Wireless Calendar Sync and 4.5

Please Login to Remove!

I hope someone can help me out here, because I don't want to have to set up my BB all over again!

I just upgraded an ATT 8310 to OS 4.5. I followed the directions in this forum and deleted the vendor.xml file then updated the OS.

What I'm finding now is that appointment requests come in as simple emails and do not offer the option of accepting, declining, marking tentative, etc.

In addition to that, the calendar will not sync wirelessly in either direction. I can add an appointment in either Outlook or the BB and it does not sync to the other location.

Any ideas? If you need more information, just let me know.

Thanks.

Are you on a BES? If so, did you reactivate on the BES? If you're BIS just resend your service books.

I'm not sure I know the difference, but I think BES.

Is this BB activated through your company? Did you reactivate on the BES server after the OS upgrade? Also, a couple times I've had issues where the calendar wireless sync has been turned off. Look in Options for the Calendar and make sure that wireless sync is turned on.

Default Thanks...

I actually feel pretty stupid. I did find it in Calendar options, but it was buried another level down. I kept looking for the Wireless toggle, but didn't realize I had to drill into another level.

Thanks for your helps.
