Hello all,

Im a new Blackberry user on a BES and need some help. My data is with rogers and i have the 8300 curve baby bear. Im trying to set up a tethered modem with the blackberry as I have no internet at home so I want to try using my blackberry as the modem and go online through my laptop. Ive been looking at the forum for information on how to set this up but I keep getting error...the first one seems to be with my modem on the laptop. I have the standard modem driver showing as installed and working fine but I cant query the modem....it says turn on the modem or make sure the interrupt is properly set. I have no clue what that is. Can someone be kind enough to help a novice out ?! thanks !

It's only EDGE... If you want half decent speeds you have to get a BOLD and tether ;)

I know exactly what you are saying with the slow access speeds... It's pretty much unbearable- haha, so once I can get a bold from Rogers I'll be a happy camper.
