If I was to switch my media card from a 1GB to a 4GB, is there any way that I could make sure that everything stored on my 1GB card will be safely transferred to the 4GB card? I'd like to know the easiest method to doing this sort of thing. I have music, pictures, etc. on my 1GB right now. I'd like it all to be on a bigger media card. Thanks.
Also, I looked on T-Mobile's website for cards. The highest is a 4GB. Is that the highest there is?
are they on the device memory by chance? you can move them one at a time from the BB to the media card, or use roxio media manage to grab em all to the PC
I never managed to get the Roxio Media Manager to work right for some reason. When I open up the DM and click Media Manager, it doesn't show that I have any media files at all. Not even music. I'll have to switch them one by one. Thanks.
Hmm... my pictures actually were on the media card, but not under the main "BlackBerry" folder. The pictures were in the Removable Disk (L: )>mobile>Pictures, while my music is in Removable Disk (L: )>BlackBerry>music.
Is there a difference? Will this affect me when I get a new media card and try to transfer the files?
hmm, when you format the new card in the BB it should set up folder for you, I suggest moving your pictures back into the (L>BlackBerry>Pictures. Somehow it just got pointed to a weird spot
Horizon Wireless is a great sponsor here on the forum, and they have always taken good care of me. The 8GB cards arent on the site, but call or email them and tell them I told you about them getting the cards in.
