Default Hep with my 8300 Curve

Please Login to Remove!

Hi

I just purchased a Red 8300 Curve from AT&T, I love it. Just need some help.

1: The CD software wont install on my Mac, can I get this software elsewhere.
2: Can I send and receive files through bluetooth?
3: How do I change the roller ball colour?
4: Is there anyway I can get my contacts from my iPhone to my Blackberry?
5: How do I change which applications I have on the home screen

Hope you can help me

Thanks

1. You can't install Desktop Manager on a Mac. You'll need PocketMac or MissingSync.
2. Not from your PC but you can to/from other phones.
3. You can't
4. You should be able to sync the BB with the Mac PIM organizer (I'm not a Mac user.)
5. You can move icons around and hide icons on the desktop by hitting the menu key (left of trackball) and select "Move" or "Hide"

3. Unless you physically color the LED, or place a Post-It flag over it, John is correct.

The 8100 is the only device that can have the trackball colored. And after it's upgraded to OS 4.5 it doesn't work anymore.

Yes, you need pocketmac or MissingSync. Search the forums here for more info. We have a Mac Users Corner forum too.

You can download MediaSync, but it only works with non-DRM protected files

Pocketmac should load up on the same cd as the DM would... mine did.

I don't think MediaSync works on Mac but I'm not sure.

I personally find it easiest to just use a media card.

Plug the card separately into your Mac, upload files, then put it in your BB.
