IŽd give Vodafone techs a call to check whether an (autologin-)user is active, and to register a BIS-Username for you via their admin-interface.
If none is active, or they receive error messages while registering a Username for you, contact AT&T tech support to confirm that the BB is really unlocked and can be used with any carrier, no service active on the BB PIN, etc., depending on how AT&T exactly handles BIS-Provisioning (SIM, PIN, whatever).
