I am using BlackBerry 8320 Curve. i need to remove a trial certificate(from my set) which is expired now. And i have purchased a new SSL for the same site. but when i am accessing the site it is giving me a warning "You are attempting to open a secure connection, but the server's certificate is not trusted." and giving me four choices: CONTINUE, CLOSE CONNECTION, VIEW CERTIFICATE, TRUST CERTIFICATE. In View Certificate it is showing me my new certificate but in Menu=>Options=>SecurityOptions=>Certificate list it is showing my previous expired certificate. If I attempt to DELETE it, it is asking for a KEY STORE PASSWORD. Which i do not have unfortunately.

I will really appreciate, if someone can help me in getting the default KEY STORE password.

The first time you open the key store it should ask you to set a password, but I think this can be controlled by policy from a BES. Go to Options > Security > Key Stores and see if it prompts you to create a pw or asks for you to enter an existing one. If you did not set it, and you're on a BES, talk to the administrator.

Thanks nosidam, is there any other safe way to reset this KEY STORE password? What if I take a backup and restore it on the SET. Will it be removed then? Secondly, What will happened if password tries will become 10/10?
