Default New on BB. Couple questions???

Please Login to Remove!

Hi everyone im new here...and new on blackberry, i just purchased a 8310 Curve and i love it, so simple, eye catchy, fast, no problems, actually im very pleased.

I have an unlimited data plan with my carrier im from mexico, but reading a lot the web i searched about the possibility to watch Youtube on my device.

Some people say upgrading my OS from 4.2 to 4.5 may solve the problem and watch the videos but reading in so many pages, this action may or not be the solution.

Actually i wanna upgrade my OS but im afraid that something happens to my curve...what do u think? If its not possible watch videos on net i dont wanna take a risk...

Thanks

Welcome to the forums.

Upgrading to 4.5 will allow you to watch youtube videos.

Run a backup before your upgrade, then you can restore all of your data. Here is a link with the install instructions. Follow it step by step and you should be fine.

Good luck!
