I have a 8330 and I'm trying to save an email attachment. I don't see an option in the menu to save it. Is there any way thatyou can save it to the SD card or the device memory?

Yes, with DocsToGo, which will be included in your OS 4.5 upgrade when it is available for your model, it is just not yet officially released.

I'm not getting the download button. I have a 2Gb card. Any settings to set in order to allow this option?

Are you on BES or BIS? Try resending your service books.

Gif won't download with DocumentsToGo, and with the XLS file, do you have SheetsToGo installed yet?

look at your DocumentsToGo application > Menu > Upgrade > Register and download the standard upgrade, not the premium.

I am updating now. The original install only had docs and slideshow. No sheets. No wonder a xls won't save. Is there any way to save a gif?

Do you have the BlackBerry Attachment Service, listed under Options > Advanced > Applications?

Right now, I honestly can't remember if GIF files are, I know JPG are. I thought GIF were also.

Go to your Manage Internet Email icon on your home screen and send the service books from there.

Thanks again,

It is often called "setup personal email", rather than "manage email", but yout got it ok logging in on the PC.

You won't be able to edit JPG or GIF files on the BB.
