Default Running slow with memory card

Please Login to Remove!

Hi, first time post here,
I just got my curve about a week ago and so far i absolutely love it.
I got an 8 gig memory card and put 2 gig worth of music on it.. now im ready at snail speeds is there a way to avoid this?

It will run slow until the device has finished scanning the card.

It depends. It seems like it does this when you make changes to the card. If you add/delete files it senses something is different and then scans the card again. The hourglass will pop up once a second for a while, and if you open Media you'll see the scanning bar, until the scanning is complete.
