9003 Error Code. My buddy was able to start the download for his Pearl(8130). But I can't get anything but the 9003 error for the 8330.

Oh well.. I'm sure they are working on it!

This should be taken down until it actually works. And put 4.3 back up!

I kept getting the error too but kept trying to get the download last night...eventually it went through and downloaded fine. But I would suggest searching for the 4.5.0.66 version instead because it's more updated....this one is in fact 4.5.0.56 (don't go by the .82)

It could very well be a massive influx to download, seeing wherein this the first official fo po fi for CDMA...

Anybody figure out any noticeable differences between this and the newer 4.5.0.66 beta?

Incidentally, I couldn't find a list on the site that detailed all of the changes in the 4.5 release. Did you happen to see an official text that accompanied the file update?

No way, .66 lags fairly often, the unread message icon shows up all the time for no reason when there are no unread messages (ive literally stared at the screen and seen it come on for absolutely no reason.), and the phone just generally freezes up for 2-5 seconds all the time just when trying to move the cursor through the icons or menus...it's ridiculous. IMO that newest beta is still far from perfect and releasable...it's disappointing.

Sorry to hear your having all those issues but I haven't had one of the problems you've listed happen yet, I've been running it for about 2 weeks and I, like all of you, am a heavy user. Wonder what the problem is for you???

Yeah also to add to those things I listed, when you are listening to music through the phone and you get an alert for a message or whatever, it stops the music completely and it never resumes on its own. Try it out and check if yours does it. Such a stupid thing to not have fixed throughout all these beta versions..I mean come on..

I had been getting the "9003 error" all day, but just now finished downloading it. I can't wait to get home to upgrade my BB.

I have 66 for my 8330. Is it worthwhile to downgrade to this?

I got it to work ...

Go to BlackBerry - BlackBerry Desktop and Device Software Download Sites

Scroll down to North America ... Click on MTS Mobility and then select the 8330

Works like a charm!!

maybe but 4.3 would resume the music playing after an alert sound so why would an upgraded OS not do it?? makes no sense...you have to go back to the music menu and unpause it every time.

So what do those of us do that are running macs. Can i download and then just drop onto the phone via mass storage? I really hate the fact that people with macs get screwed on most software applications.

Ok, so I installed it. I disconnected my Berry from the PC and it asks me if I want to run setup wizard. Should I? Do I have to set up my Blackberry email again? Help!

I guess the media player issue is a standard thing now.... when an alert comes in when you are listening to something it doesn't automatically restart?
