Your filename: 8330uAMEA_PBr4.5.0_rel101_PL3.2.0.51_A4.5.0.77

Filename in first post: 8330AMEA_PBr4.5.0_rel82_PL3.2.0.44_A4.5.0.56_MTS

I don't know about you, but something tells me because they aren't the same the file size just *might* be different ;)

This is version 4.5.0.66 and appears to be the latest release. I haven't tried it yet, it's DL'ing now.

It is a release for US Cellular so don't forget to delete the Vendor XML file if USC is not your carrier. Here's the linky:

If you are thinking about upgrading to this OS, but you aren't sure, then I suggest you go ahead and DL the file anyway. It can always be installed at a later date. You never know if it will disappear like 4.5.0.56 did when MTS pulled theirs off (see first post).

Same functionality but the advantage to the .56 was that it was an official release and considered stable by MTS. Thus far that is the ONLY one that was an official release.

All other releases including .66 and .77 are technically betas though conventional wisdom would think that they have less bugs though that may not be the case. I'm sticking with .56 until I see a compelling reason to upgrade OR Verizon finally releases an official release.

Actually not entirely true.

4.5.0.66 was officially released by US Cellular. Just like MTS, they pulled it.

I was just about to say the same thing, but you beat me to it!

OS .77 is the latest beta release AFAIK, although it's definitely not official and is probably still being tested by whomever is interested in releasing it.

I've been using .77 for a few days now and have no issues whatsoever. It's been very solid for me, at least within my needed parameters.
