I own a 8300 and its not reading the Sim card for one and im getting these messages saying "453 ERROR.invailed number please resend using a valid 10 digit mobile number or vailid short code". WHAT IS THIS???the phone is but 6 mounths old and unlocked i dont know what is wrong it holds a signl for the first 30 sec. of start up then nothing it says there is no sim card in when there is....What do i do

And when i lock the phone it locks for good and askes for a PUK code....

No the unlock is fine it was fine until like a week ago and then bam! As for the O.s it is 4.2....but like i said it dosent hold a signle after the first 30 sec of start up...

where did u get the phone from, i might suggest talking to whoever did the unlock.

I got it off of here.....i cant remember who but it was a MOD jsanders i think IDK...ill look into that though

For resolution of the PUK code issue, you need to contact your carrier's customer service. Entering the wrong code to the PUK unlock message too many times will fry your SIM card, requiring you to replace it.

No i bought it from "lunkhead" i will see what i can do

yeah i would just ask who you got it from, they might know whats up, plus if it was from a MOD they might know whats wrong, did u try your SIM card in a different phone just to confirm that it is working properly?

Yeah i called AT&T and they are sending me a new sim card.....how do i save all my contacts so i dont lose all those....
