Default Help Required 4.2 to 4.5 TMobile UK - 08-11-2008, 04:54 PM

I have just tried to upgrade the OS on 8310, the installation goes well. However when you put your pin in, it then prompts your for the password, the device resets itself, and you go in a constant loop.

Have to put 4.2 back on for now. Hopefully someone can provide me with an answer.

TMobile Uk dont know when they are going to release 4.5. Please can someone help?

Are you on a BES?

I have never ever had to enter my PIN while upgrading.

Just to avoid confusion I am not a BES, and I am talking about my PIN code for my SIM. I am able to enter the PIN for my sim card, it is after I have enter that the device reboots.

Wirelessly posted

Try disabling the pin security code before upgrading.

Got OS 4.5 working on a TMboile 8310 device... Yipeee, but then put SIM into BB and the BB crashes. So there you go. Tmobile tech support no help. Standard answer we have tested software yet, still sorting. Got to spend another 30 mins downgrading software. Thanks TMobile for your support :(
