Hey guys,

What is the official latest verizon software version for the curve, and what is the max micro sd card i can buy for it? Does 16 gb work?

What type and size Media Card can I use in my device? From BlackBerryFAQ

The BlackBerry devices that have media card capabilities are from the 81xx, 83xx and 88xx series.

All of these series use a MicroSD card and have the following maximum capacities:

* BlackBerry Device Software 4.2.0
o Up to 2GB
* BlackBerry Device Software 4.2.1
o Up to 4GB
* BlackBerry Device Software 4.2.2
o Up to 4GB
* BlackBerry Device Software 4.3.0
o Up to and above 8GB
* BlackBerry Device Software 4.5.0
o Up to AND above 8GB

There's a sticky at the top of this forum with the different Curve models and the latest software for each. Verizon is the 8330. Officially, 4 GB is the biggest card that is supported by the Curve, but some claim to have gotten larger ones to work.

Edit: Dubdub has more accurate into. He's faster too!

Official versions of BlackBerry handheld code for Verizon can be found here - BlackBerry® Software Updates

4.3.0.127 is the latest official version on that site.

The Curves with OS 4.3.127 officially support 8 Gig media cards.
