Default Blackberry Curve is slow

Please Login to Remove!

Hello all,

My wife and I just purchased our blackberry curves and we notices that it is really slower than the 8830 (World edition). Is there anyway to speed up the curve. Sprint is my carrier. I love my BB to death but what I have noticed is that with these different models that come out, there is always something missing. I loved the 8830 but it didn't have enough memory. I changed to the curve that has more memory but it is slower than the 8830. Please help.

Deleting logs isn't going to help.

What i mean by slow is that when I click on an icon it doesn't open a folder or react right. For example, I may be in my instant message folder, then when I click the button to back out of it, it takes about 2-3 seconds before going back to the home screen. Any suggestions.

That, most likely, has to do with the OS. Some are slower than others. You have OS 4.3 on your 8330 and had 4.2 on your 8830.

Considering you just got your BB's, start deleting apps you don't need. From what I was told, this helps free up memory. I did it, and I noticed a difference.

Yes. As long as you move existing files over to the card.
