I purchased a new BB 8300 in NY last week while on holiday.

I was told this device from Vodafone was unlocked & could be used anywhere in the world.

Inserted my SIM CARD from TMobile US and it worked (the phone functions), later inserted my home country's sim card i.e. from Kuwait ZAIN KW (formerly MTC KW) and the phone functions work perfectly.

But I want to subscribe to BB service and during registration it says de-register this and retry.

After going through the various forums found that the vendorid = 120 (Vodafone UK), I need to get this to work.

help what should i do to get blackberry service to work in any country

Ofcourse I do have the PIN & IMEI #s

It sounds to me like the PIN is registered with another account. You would need to get it un-registered with that account if I am correct. The FAQ here on the website should have the information you seek.

You or the previous owner need to ask the carrier to remove the PIN from that network. This is not unlocking it, just removing the PIN from the old account.

THEN, you will need to have the device unlocked.

My device is unlocked, then why is it not registering to Blackberry Service in my country i.e. Kuwait. attached is the error i get

Did you contact the carrier the phone was previously used with to get the PIN unregistered? (I'm not sure how you would find out what carrier the phone is registered with - maybe Vodafone's a good guess?)
