Default Unlocked 8320 WIFI only AIM HELP!!!

Hello, I recently purchased an unlocked T-Mobile 8320 that I am using for AT&T. I have searched the foroums about using the Aim program with wifi only but no body found an answer previously. I was just wondering if anybody knows how to use the aim program for the 8320 using only wifi. When i try to use the program it tells me to go to blackberry.com/aim but after going to that site nothing happens. Thanks alot!

The instant messenger programs for the new BlackBerry devices require a data plan in order to use. I don't believe they will work via Wi-Fi only.

That's correct. No data plan = AIM/IM programs won't work.

BeeJiveIM (JiveTalk) works with no data plan...However, it's not free.

Beejive | instant messaging, just about anywhere
