Default notes dissappeared

hi folks
sorry if this has been posted - i did a search but couldn't see anything. but since upgrading to the 4.5 os my notes (the ones that sync with outlook) have dissappeared. anyone know of a way to get them back?
also you tube doesn't work for me - just says error playing file.
i used the orange uk 5.5 release and am on tmobile

Your Memos? Are you looking for the correct icon?

Go to Options > Advanced > Applications. Scroll down to MemoPad. Do you see it?

yeah i did look and i under core applications i can't see a module named 'memo' or 'notes' - weird huh?
any other ideas? I use the notes/memos frequently

It is named "MemoPad". In alphabetical order of all apps, not listed with Core applications.

ok i got it - for some reason they didn't load by default. so i started desktop manager and synced it from there. thanks for trying to help tho - appreciated.
