I want to know what programs are out there to edit your bb.. like themes settings.. file system and other things..

You can't edit your file system. You can remove cod files from the OS load in the java directory of your OS folder on the PC before upgrading.

For the themes, you will need the theme building software. Look in our Media section on the forum here for details.

OK. I thought I saw something like a file management application on here somewhere. I was mistaken. I will check out the theme editor's in the media section.

You can get a file manager, or viewer, like Roves file manager for the BB. But you can edit the files, and it won't show the system files anyway. This is not windows.

Yeah.. I realize that. I wasn't being a smartass or anything. I just want to make some tweaks that aren't exactly accessible through normal means. Might just make something up myself.

I don't think you were trying to be smarta$$, I think you seriously think you are about to edit the RIM OS.

One comes around about twice a month here asking, and normally either goes away sorely disappointed and moves on back to hacking PCs or whatever, and sometimes they become quite adamant that they can hack the OS and get quite silly in the forum with their haxoring talk and knowledge.

You don't appear to be either of those two. , and that is cool.
