Default 8310 Adjust to 4-5 Rings?

Please Login to Remove!

I have the 8310 Curve. Is there a way to adjust the number of rings to 4 or 5? I have it maxed at 3 under profiles, but sometimes it goes to voice mail after 2 rings. Sometimes, I just cant answer the phone fast enuff.

Many thanks!

You need to call AT&T and ask them to adjust this.

You can ask them to extend the ringtime up to 30 seconds.

Yep it is a carrier controled thing. Your settings under profiles does not adjust this.

The problem with this method is that callers who have your same carrier no longer get your voice mail, they get their own. This just toasted my night and I am now gonna spend hours trying to figure out how to undo this. DOH!

Edit: Okay...so I got lucky. I went into Phone>Options>Call Forwarding and found where it changed the voicemail number and was able to quickly reset it to the correct VM number. It does seem however that it still rings for 30 seconds so I got the benefit plus the quick lesson..lol.
