Is there anyway to open word and excel documents, for free, that you havent recieved through an email, meaning you've directly uploaded to your computer?

Using DocumentsToGo, yes. Included in OS 4.5.

You probably did not load DTG when you loaded your OS 4.5, you might have not checked the app loader box for it to be included.

There is no cost to use. However, there is an update to add Sheet To Go. The update is 2.2MB and needs to be downloaded OTA so there would be a charge for that (if you're on Robbers.)

DTG is free to use in the limited edition you loaded.

It is not trial, it is simply limited to viewing, editing and saving documents.

And the version with the OS doesn't include Sheet To Go (Excel.)
