Default Replying from different address

Please Login to Remove!

If I receive an email on one account, is there a way to reply from a different account that is setup on the BB? "Send using" lets me select it, but the only option is the address which the email has come from. It's a bit weird the "send using" is there as a changable option, but there's no other options to change it to!

Thanks in advance,
Ed

No, a 'reply' on the BB can only come from the address to which it was received.

You can forward, and change the 'send using' option, but not a on reply.

...and if you really, really want a reply instead of a forward then choose forward and edit the subject line (change Fw to Re).

There is actually a logical reason for this, I suppose in RIM's mind it is maybe security related, in that it does control how replies are made, and can't be messed with, as you will also see that on a reply message, the original message cannot be edited at all, other than removed totally.
