Default Tmobile data plan question

Please Login to Remove!

i have looked for a bit, and havent found any concrete information.

my wife currently has the bis plan from tmobile.
however she doesnt really use the internet portion. mostly email.

so if we changed her plan to email only, could she PIN and SMS?
she could not however do google maps, i assume? just to be sure.

TIA

Here's a link for info on messaging rates if not included in your plan:

TMo Messaging Rates

I get 400 incoming/outgoing domestic messages for $4.99 per month . It's worth it if you're doing more than 33 messages per month. They also offer 1,000 messages for $9.99 or unlimited messages for $14.99.

You can certainly try it and see.

Setup the APN by going to Options >> Advanced Options >> TCP and enter the following information for T-Mobile:

APN: wap.voicestream.com

I would probably say no...they may but T-Mo has probably blocked them. Good to know about the PIN/BBM with the email package...if I ever need to drop mine
